Teufelsberg ‘Devil’s Mountain’ is a rubbish dump of bombed buildings from the Second World War in the Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf district of Berlin.
My next project is to redesign the dance floor in the centre of the building, which was built during the Cold War by the US Army and was used for spying on the Russians.
The sinister feel of the place must be what attracts the curious to the top of the mountain but now it is the Urban art that preserves the place and prevents it from becoming a luxury hotel overlooking Berlin.
I find it incredible that there is a space to dance on top of thousands of tons of rubble that Berlin women piled up over the years.
It is an honour for me to tackle such a project, embraced by more than 300 works by urban artists from all over the world.
It was clear to @preh.streetart that my work was a perfect fit for the dance area and could cleanse the energy of the place.
Right now I find myself wandering between the beautiful, the sinister and the ruin as a consequence of the terrible decisions of many.
