The Core x Paula Fraile

We open the doors of The Core to enjoy art with time and space, connected.

Paula Fraile is a Spanish painter and muralist based in Leipzig. Her work investigates how color, light, and composition can transform the perception of space, building landscapes that combine physical and emotional elements. She works with mixed media – oil, acrylic, collage, fluorescent pigments, and light – to activate hidden layers of reality and create immersive atmospheres. She has carried out interventions in public and private spaces, and exhibited individually and collectively in Spain, Germany, Uruguay, India, the USA, and Mexico.

Over three days in June, she will transform The Core, presenting small-format works and site-specific interventions across the building’s three floors.

The Core is a space in Basel dedicated to supporting personal development and conscious leadership. Directed and managed by Solveig Steinmeier, it welcomes Paula Fraile, who also combines her work with live DJ sets by Ramona Wouters, and Yoav Naveh.
